Final Day of Boudheib Endurance Qualifying Rides

Hundreds of Riders  in the Educational Primary Ride

Tens of qualifiers in the 40 & 80 km Endurance Rides

On Friday afternoon, the BDEV has concluded the Qualifiers Rides for Endurance that took place at Boudhieb International Endurance Village organized by  Emirates Heritage Club as in the equestrian events under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Representative of His Highness the President & Chairman of the EHC  in cooperation and coordination with the Emirates Equestrian Federation.

The event has sees qualifying most of the Riders who participated in the events and more than 230 Riders from various stables of the state.

             The race included two qualifying local races: a qualifying race of 80.47 kilometers, with 98 participants and 109 out of 104 horses passed the veterinary examination, and a rehabilitation race for a distance of 40.28 kilometers, which participated 125 horses and horses out of 141 passed horses veterinary examination, the two races according to the Boudhieb protocol  which focuses on honest competition and the preservation of horse health and safety, where the items take into account the health of horses and riders and give moral value to compete.

During the event, the village witnessed an educational race for the students of the Boudhieb Equestrian Academy. His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed Jaber Al Muhairbi, Executive Director of Support Services at the Club, honored the participants in this race. The village used to host such educational races in its various riding and endurance races, Due to the fact that Boudhieb training is a major outlet for such races, it is hoped that the Emirates will continue to provide the UAE with new blood.

The event was attended by HE Mr. Sinan Ahmed Al Muhairi, Executive Director of Activities at the Club, HE Abdullah Mohammed Jaber Al Muhairbi, Executive Director of Support Services, Mansour Saeed Amahi Al Mansouri, Deputy Director General of Sultan Bin Zayed Center, and other senior officials.

The number of  riders who took part in the qualifying race today expressed their pleasure to participate and qualify and said that the most important encouragement to participate is the great attention and care of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of His Highness the President of the UAE and Chairman of EHC  for all the Riders (Male & Femele)  that BDEV characterized by the services and laws that constitute an opportunity for us to learn and maintain horses.

They pointed out that BDEV  is characterized by the existence of natural paths adopted by the races, a challenge to the Knight to balance the speed and maintain the health of horses, and everyone praised the Boudhieb Protocol  of endurance, which is a wonderful experience and aims to sport the knights and horseback riding art.

A miniature heritage corner

On the sidelines of the event, in the BDEV where the village  looks like  a heritage corner accompanied by the Zayed Center for Studies and Research of the club, includes a book exhibition on the occasion of the year of Zayed contains a number of versions of the late Shaikh Zayed (MGBH).
